CUBE III is a renovation project of an existing office building located in Weil am Rhein, Germany. The aim is to transform a conventional administrative building into a modern, flexible workspace by combining functional architecture with advanced construction and sustainability technologies.
The facade features smart systems including Schüco AWS 120 CC.SI and Schüco CC B, which provide a high level of thermal insulation, automated ventilation, and solar shading. These elements improve indoor climate conditions while reducing energy consumption. Selected areas of the facade are equipped with integrated photovoltaic panels that generate clean electricity, supporting the project’s goal of minimizing environmental impact.
Interior spaces are organized flexibly using Schüco AKS IW40 partition systems, allowing functional separation without sacrificing openness or natural light. These partitions are ideal for modern offices requiring both privacy and transparency. Guardian Glass is used throughout, offering excellent daylight transmission, thermal insulation, and UV protection, enhancing occupant comfort and energy efficiency.
The ventilated facade system improves air circulation and helps dissipate heat. By combining high-tech solutions with sustainable design principles, CUBE III sets a new standard for intelligent office renovations in Germany.
